What is lms.lk?

lms.lk is a learning management system (LMS) built for tuition teachers and institutes in Sri Lanka. Each academy gets its own branded website at yourname.lms.lk — or on a domain it already owns — where students sign in, watch recorded lessons, join live classes, submit assignments and download notes. Fees are collected through the academy's own PayHere merchant account or by bank-slip upload, in full or in installments with due dates, and lms.lk takes no commission on them. Payment confirmations and reminders go out by email and by SMS through the academy's own text.lk or notify.lk account. Plans start at Rs 2,900 a month after a 14-day free trial that needs no card. Every academy's courses, students and payments are kept separate from every other academy's at the database level.

Where does my students' money go?

Straight to you. You connect your own PayHere merchant account, or list your bank details for slip uploads. lms.lk never holds your course fees and takes no commission.

Do I need a PayHere account to start?

No. Bank-transfer payments with slip upload work from day one. Add PayHere whenever your merchant account is ready.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes, on the Pro and Institute plans. Add a CNAME record at your domain provider and verify it from Settings → Domain. Your lms.lk address keeps working too.

What happens when the free trial ends?

Your academy goes offline for students until you choose a plan. Nothing is deleted — pay from Plan & Billing and everything is back.

    Who pays for SMS?

    You use your own text.lk or notify.lk account, so messages are billed at your gateway's rates and sent under your Sender ID.

    Is my academy's data separate from others?

    Yes. Every academy's courses, students and payments are isolated at the database level — one academy can never read another's records.

    Can my students use it on a phone?

    Yes. The student site works in any mobile browser — there is nothing to install.

    Where are my videos stored?

    Recorded lessons play from your own YouTube (unlisted) or Google Drive links, so you keep control of your content. Notes and papers upload to the built-in file storage.
